**Electromechanical Technician - FULL TIME - Bedford, NS**

**BACKGROUND**:
Our Clinical Engineering Division offers a technology support program to member organizations across Nova Scotia and we operate from our base offices in New Glasgow, Amherst, Bedford, Truro, Kentville, Bridgewater, Yarmouth, Middleton and Antigonish. We currently have an opening for an Electromechanical Technician to join our Clinical Engineering team in our Bedford office. **DUTIES**:
You will be involved in the delivery of maintenance and testing service on a variety of electromechanical devices mainly electric beds, sterile processing, patient lifts, and other equipment as required. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of health professionals within a team-based environment, and to provide an essential service toward the health and well being of others.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
You must have successfully completed an Electronic or Electromechanical Technician program (or acceptable equivalent). Certification through TECHNOVA (or equivalent) will be viewed as an asset. Necessary skills include strong troubleshooting, interpersonal and communications skills, good mechanical ability. Please note, extensive travel to member organizations is a core requirement of this position, therefore applicants must have their own vehicle and the ability to travel out of province or country.
