**Annual Salary: $67,107 - $83,879**

Reporting to the Manager - Chronic Pain Management Program & Project ECHO, with indirect reporting to the Director - Mental Health Services, the Data Analyst supports the Coordinated Access project and operations of The Access Point Northwest. The Data Analyst will assist with data collection, analysis and reporting, and provides data analyst support to Addictions and Mental Health division. The Data Analyst performs the integration, organization, analysis, and visualization of statistical data.

**Qualifications**:
Education/Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in statistics, computer science or software engineering (mathematics stream), health systems research or other quantitative discipline; and
- Minimum one year of practical related work experience and
- Strong knowledge of statistical modelling tools (i.e. SAS, R) and other data query tools (SQL)

Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing at a level appropriate to the target audience
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, and customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong project/time management, excellent analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software, including MS Office Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Assets:

- Specialization in Health Informatics
- Experience in healthcare sector with knowledge of Canadian healthcare standard datasets and healthcare reporting requirements
- Experience with BI tools, Visual Basic, Visio and database structures

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**- Ability to work irregular hours
- Must undergo a successful Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
- Valid Ontario driver's License - Class G
- Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation
