**About Scarborough Swim Club**

SCAR Swim Club is a not-for-profit organization affiliated with Swim Ontario and Swimming Canada and provides competitive swimmers with professional swim instruction and coaching. Our Club operates primarily in the eastern GTA and has been in operation since 1954. We continue to develop our rapidly growing pre-competitive swim school and competitive programs, and are a tenant swim club within the world-class Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre located right here in Scarborough, in addition to other nearby satellite aquatic facilities. Scarborough Swim Club culture means taking care of the individual first, and the swimmer second.

We strive to create and protect a positive and encouraging atmosphere that fosters both excellence and having fun. Our team of coaches and instructors are approachable, working together to teach and evaluate an established set of progressive must-sees throughout our pre-competitive and competitive programs, communicating specific terminology and expectations. We teach independence, responsibility, and accountability in our swimmers, and we support one another.

**Position**

**Qualifications**
- Swimming 101 certified (NCCP-1)
- Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS), Standard First Aid & CPR-C certifications
- Must present and maintain a valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
- Must be in good standing with Swim Ontario & Swimming Canada
- Experience with Team Unify an asset

**Application Process**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: From $30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M1C 0C7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: One location
