Taxi Foreman

Roach's Yellow Taxi is seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join our team as a Taxi Foreman for the day shift (5am to 3pm). As a Taxi Foreman, your primary responsibilities will include driving a taxi and supervising other drivers to ensure the smooth operation of our taxi services.

**Responsibilities**:
**Driving Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a taxi to transport passengers to their destinations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional and courteous demeanour.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and coordinate the activities of taxi drivers during the day shift.
- Monitor driver performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist in resolving any customer concerns or disputes.

**Communication**:

- Effectively communicate with dispatch and other team members.
- Keep track of schedules, routes, and any changes in operations.

**Vehicle Maintenance**:

- Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a taxi driver is required.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Willingness to work early morning shifts starting at 5am.
