In this role, you will work with a team of talented, operators overseeing the day-to-day operations of plant and field, preparing equipment for maintenance, troubleshooting, and working with the control room for plant optimization and maximizing plant efficiencies.

Minimum requirements:
- Three years of experience in plant operations; experience in heavy oil processing, sour gas processing, water treatment/power plants or refinery operations is preferred- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record- Alignment with our values of: safety above all else, respect, raise the bar, commitments matter and do the right thing

**Responsibilities**:
- Follow all operating processes and procedures during operations to ensure the safety of our people, equipment and the environment- Prepare and complete daily area logs and communicate significant changes and findings in a timely manner- Ensure timely action and process adjustments during plant upsets that are consistent with operational objectives and target outputs- Prepare equipment and systems for maintenance and commissioning

Location & other key details:
- You will work out of our Fort Hills Plant in Fort McMurray, Alberta- The shift schedule is a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (12-hour shifts)- You will be on a Fly-In-Fly-Out Rotation from one of the approved hubs of Edmonton or Calgary or a Bus-In-Bus-Out of Fort McMurray.
