**Environmental Course Instructor**

MBC Group is seeking an Environmental Course Instructor to fill an Independent Contractor role in British Columbia. **What you will do**

Perform Environmental Course Instructor functions related to the following activities:

- Deliver instruction aligned with program objectives and curriculum.
- Deliver course material and provide hands-on instruction.
- Assist in the development and amendments of course material.
- Support continuous improvement of training processes and keep updated for quality and student satisfaction.
- Emphasize safety and ensure student understanding of safe work procedures.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support to students.
- Fairly evaluate student performance and contribute to curriculum development.

**What you will bring**
- A minimum of 10 years experience within the hazmat industry, either in environmental consulting or abatement in British Columbia with extensive knowledge of asbestos, the abatement process, and WorkSafe BC regulations.
- A relevant industrial hygiene certification such as CIH, ROH, P.Eng, CRSP or equivalent.
- Experience working with asbestos-containing materials and able to provide real-world examples and scenarios to their students.
- Experience in public speaking, training, and assisting with the development of others.
- Sound quality management and teaching principles knowledge obtained through studies and/or related work experience.
