Sunrise Bakery is a large commercial bakery located on the west end of Edmonton. The company tradition began in 1963 and has expanded since to facilitate many customers across Canada and the United States. The small bakery ambience amongst 80+ persons is maintained by daily contact on a first name basis between staff and management. Staff retention levels remains unsurpassed, with many clocking in 10 years and 20 years of service.

Sunrise Bakery is currently seeking a Sanitation Worker to add to our team. This individual must possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

This position is vital to our operations and provides long-term employment and growth opportunity.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role required.
- Hands on, safety, quality, and procedural training provided.
- Repetitive tasks that may include handling light to moderate loads (up to 25kg), manual dexterity, attention to detail, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Exposure to noise, dust, hot water/steam, cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
- Upon successful completion of training, the individual must display understanding and awareness of proper cleaning and sanitizing processes and procedures in a food manufacturing facility.
- Must comply with regulatory requirements in preparation, handling and storage of chemicals, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day with occasional overtime as required. This is an overnight shift that typically runs from 7:00 pm to 3:00 am. You must have a reliable vehicle as there is no bus service in the area during that time.
