House League Soccer Coach

**Job Summary**: Globe FC is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Summer House League Coaches. This role is critical in providing a fun, safe, and developmental environment for players aged 1.5-12. Coaches will be responsible for organizing and leading practices/games, teaching fundamental soccer skills, promoting sportsmanship. We are looking for coaches who are passionate about sports and youth development, and who can inspire young athletes to love the game.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and conduct regular practice sessions that are fun and educational.
- Teach players the fundamentals of soccer, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and game rules.
- Foster a team environment that emphasizes enjoyment, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club staff.
- Ensure a safe playing environment for all participants.
- Manage game day preparations, including equipment setup and player rotations.
- Provide positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to players.
- Attend all scheduled games, practices, and coach meetings.
- Keep record of players’ attendance and progress.
- Follow and uphold all club policies, goals, and objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous coaching experience or playing experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
- Energetic, patient, and able to work with children of various ages.
- Must pass a background check
- First Aid and CPR certifications are a plus.

**Working Conditions**:

- Outdoor field settings, exposure to various weather conditions.
- Some travel may be required
- Physical activity, including demonstrating soccer skills and setting up equipment.

**Compensation**:

- This is a seasonal, part-time position.
- Hourly rate: $22/hour

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week
