We are currently looking for an **Accounting Technician** to join our team. We are looking for someone who has experience in preparing compilations and working with personal and corporate taxes. For this position, we are not looking for an Articling Student or Bookkeeper. This role is perfect for someone who can come in, hit the ground running and is willing to excel in their role. If you are hardworking, dedicated and enthusiastic, then this is the position for you

**Your Responsibilities will include**:

- Preparing a variety of compilations
- Assisting with Personal and Corporate taxes
- Learning from and liaising with Managers and Partners on files
- Asking clients for information needed to complete the files
- Working independently, but also as a member of the team
- Keeping the Managers and Partners informed of your file progression
- Other tasks as they arise

**Your Attributes**:

- 2 to 3 years of experience as an Accounting Technician
- Exceptional communication, time management and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Excel, Profile, Caseware and DocIt

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
