Footprints Security is a 100% locally owned and operated security and guest services provider, proudly serving Vancouver Island since 1980. Footprints is seeking an experienced and energetic administrative and operational professional to join our Head Office team in a **Security Operations and Communications Centre Operator**

**General Responsibilities**
- Afternoon and overnight shifts ( 1500-2300, 2300-0700)
- Reporting to the Director of Operations
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to multitask are required for this position.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision
- Working independently in a demanding environment while maintaining a calm disposition
- Excellent customer service skills
- Perform and monitor dispatch duties; extensive time spent on the phone, scheduling employees, taking short-notice service requests, responding to questions, and initiating appropriate responses to requests.
- Complete a variety of complex and detail-oriented administrative tasks in support operations
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute various reports both internally and externally
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic file systems and operational equipment inventories

Able to work with mínimal supervision

Complete data entry in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow-up with and act as a liaison with various individuals, both internally and externally, at all levels of the organization with the highest level of customer service
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all company information, procedures, and investigations
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative, customer service and/or operational role in a busy, dynamic office environment
- Computer skills including proficiency with MS Office suite
- Security knowledge preferred but not necessary
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to jump in and assist
- Ability to be productive and efficient with limited supervision
- Ability to work with precision and accuracy while demonstrating attention to detail
- Strong organizational and planning skills in an office environment with fluctuating volumes and demands
- Ability to mitigate problems and find creative solutions
- Strong and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask while prioritizing work
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Ability to safely perform the physical elements of the position, which includes lifting (
