**Responsibilities**:
- Teach French to students aging from 6 to 17 years old, with a size of class of 4-8 students. Mainly focus on teaching welcome class (La classe d’accueil) to new immigrants.
- Help students develop strong French language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, provide guidance and support in reading comprehension and written expression.
- Instruct and motivate students to learn French, provide constructive feedback, and help students identify and correct errors in French.
- Develop lesson plans that are targeted to the student's needs and align with the design and learning goals of school curricula.
- Create a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Fill in Class plan and post-lesson notes
- Maintain a friendly and professional manner in class at all times
**Requirement**:
- Having some experience teaching/tutoring French, having teaching experience in primary school or online teaching is preferred.
- Experience in teaching FSL (French as a Second Language) is an asset.
- Strong French written and oral communication skills
- Must be available to teach in-person from the centre location. Weekend schedule is highly needed since most courses will be at weekends.
**Skills**:
- Strong French written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding. Bilingualism (French and English) is highly preferred
- Strong classroom management skills and teaching techniques.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students through different class activities.
- Good at teaching presentation skill, public speaking or drama content will be highly preferred.
**Schedule**:
- Day shift on Saturday or Sunday
- Evenings during Monday - Friday

**Salary**: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
