Bakery Assistant

Job Summary

Your responsibilities will include baking, packaging, and ensuring food safety standards are met. **Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the preparation and baking of various bakery items
- Package baked goods
- Icing donuts
- Labelling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery kitchen
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and fulfilling customer requests
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a bakery or food industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic cake decorating skills are a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
