**Job Summary**

We are searching for a technical dispatcher/scheduler to manage inbound support calls and tickets, assign to appropriate resources, schedule appointments in shared calendars and perform level 1 tech support where appropriate.

This is a 3 month contract to gauge fit. Provided the applicant can perform to expectations, this role can be expected to turn into a full time permanent position with paid vacation and benefits.

**Special consideration will be made for any applicant with previous experience with Autotask and IT Glue software.**

The IT Technician will work in an outside setting in commercial offices supporting IT and telecom requirements for customers. Our business utilizes a virtual office with limited immediate supervision, lots of freedom and flexibility and with a focus of customer and employee retention. We also have physical office space located in Burlington Ontario.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Creation of tickets, assignation of tickets based on skillsets and priority
- Scheduling of work for technicians
- Level 1 tech support tasks - resetting passwords, basic admin, general basic tech support

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Experience with PSA, RMM, SOC, Antivirus and Remote Access software
- Experience with installation, troubleshooting and updating of computer software, hardware and operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Server OS.
- Experience and understanding of network protocols, network switches, routers and wireless access points, IP addressing, DNS, port forwarding, etc. Ubiquiti and Cisco Meraki experience is an asset.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently, conform to project schedules and work without direct supervision.
- Able to accurately and consistently log employee time via internal management software.
- Ability to create and update IT documentation including both assets and process and procedure documents
- **An outgoing personality, positive attitude and ability to act as a good team player is an absolute MUST.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$62,500.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Technical Documentation: 1 year (required)
