Looking to hire: Full-time Bookkeeper

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and balance general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
- Provide financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects.
- Correct errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
- Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortizations prepaids; analyzing and reconciling retainage and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
- Secure financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.

Qualifications:

- Proven bookkeeping experience.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks).
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Ability to Commute:

- Kamloops, BC V2C 2C1 (required)

Ability to Relocate:
