Gradeperson

Pedersen Construction (2013) Inc. is presently seeking Gradepersons to assist with various projects.

The Gradeperson position offers a competitive compensation and benefit package
- Reads drawings and prepares notes to layout project requirements
- Understands offset layout & cut sheets
- Maintains, checks and transports survey instruments
- Work and communicate with Superintendents and Project Managers/Coordinators relative to progress and site issues.
- Keeps notes to record installation details and creates asbuilt drawings
- Stays 2 steps ahead with preparation for the upcoming operation
- Can work under pressure - understands that nothing happens until the grade is set
- Provide grade for bulk earth-moving, bulk excavations, detail excavation (foundations), road/parking lot grading, slab-on-grade grading, etc.
- Experience with GPS systems
- C.E.T. or P.Eng diploma an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- GPS/Surveying: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- G License and your own vehicle (required)
