**Job Background**

Graywood is focused on residential mixed-use development in the Greater Toronto Area and other major Canadian markets. The management team has overseen development across several asset classes including for-sale residential, seniors housing, office, retail, and industrial, providing Graywood with first-class depth and breadth of experience.

Due to continued growth, we are our looking for a Manager, Information Systems who will become an integral part of Graywood's team.

The Manager of Information Systems will provide strategic leadership in the management, planning, coordination, supervision and evaluation of information systems, technology, and infrastructure.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Assist with the development and execution of strategic plans, aimed at the optimization of the use of IS, IT and other office productivity tools in support of the Company's business objectives.
- Provide strategic planning, evaluation and coordination, implementation, and training of the information systems for the Company.
- Take a hands-on approach to ensure continuous delivery and operation of information systems.
- Identify and implement innovative IT solutions to meet the ever-evolving needs of the business.
- Communicate and maintain a professional approach and the ability to influence multiple audiences (e.g. vendors, peers, clients, management, etc.).
- Effectively partner with all internal teams to understand needs, requirements, and critical issues requiring IT support
- Make recommendations on system enhancement/integration to better serve the Company.
- Overseeing relationship with IT managed services provider.
- Develop, implement, communicate, and evaluate information technology policies and procedures.

**General**
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety, quality and environment legislation and standards.
- Carry out additional ad hoc duties as required

**Requirements**:
**Person Specification**

**Knowledge& Experience**
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in managing IT functions and departments.
- At least 3 years of direct, management of an IT operation is preferred.

**Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, exceptional ability to work well with others.
- The ability, flexibility, and enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, and energetic environment.
- Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies.

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in IT, or related discipline.
