**Position Overview**:
The primary role of the IT Help Desk Administrator is to provide basic help desk support and assistance to employees with computer desktop software, hardware, printer, network, or system problems.

Another key aspect of this role is the cleaning, installation, and modification of operating systems and software programs, such as virus protection and word processing printers. As a member of the information technology team, provides support to other roles within the department, assists the Director with various tasks, and participates in department key initiatives.

**Education and Skills**:

- Diploma/Degree Program in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.
- Two (2) years working experience in the Information Technology industry required.
- Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment.
- Willingness to learn and build competency to perform position responsibilities.
- Hands on experience providing IT help desk support and deploying windows desktop operating systems and MS Office suite of products.
- Hands on experience providing IT help desk support for Anti-Virus and Security software.
- Some understanding of TCP/IP and Networking protocols (DHCP, DNS, WINS, HTTP)
- Customer service-oriented attitude with solid interpersonal skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and individually.
- Problem solver with basic analytical skills and ability to trouble shoot as the need arises.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
