An excellent opportunity for the hydro professional looking to join a highly motivated and innovative field services team working in the field on medium to large (>5 mw) hydro projects.

**Description**:Quality Assurance/Quality Control**

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise trades people during routine inspections, maintenance & testing of equipment
- Facilitate any tests, measurements or inspections required to support the QA/QC program
- Analyze reports on the results and key indicators of the quality management system
- Preparing and revising QA/QC documents, procedures, and work instructions
- Maintaining QA/QC records to internal and client standards
- Disposition and control of nonconformance reports and corrective action plans
- Acting as a liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality management system
- Analyze customer requirements during the bid process for QA/QC requirements

**Qualifications**:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering and P. Eng. designation with hydroelectric plant experience
OR Diploma in Technology plus 3 years minimum hydroelectric plant experience
OR Red Seal Trade designation plus 3 years minimum hydroelectric plant experience
*Prior Inspection or Machining experience is an asset
- Knowledge of common inspection tools (Vernier, micrometer, etc)
- Knowledge of automated measurement methods (FARO/laser tracker/CMM) is an asset
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, CWB, ASME or other standards - an asset
- Good knowledge of reading mechanical plans
- Good knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
- Must have Class G driver’s license
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Physically demanding work, must be able to be on your feet all day, climb ladders/scaffolding, etc.
- Must be willing and able to travel internationally

**Legal status to work in Canada is required **and second language an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
