Journeyman Glazier

Duties:

- Measure, cut, and install glass and interior Al Framing for windows, doors, and demountable partitions.
- Remove broken or damaged glass and replace with new glass
- Install weatherstripping and seals to ensure proper insulation
- Operate hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine installation requirements
- Weld or solder metal frames for glass installation
- Ensure proper alignment and plumb of installed glass and materials
- Build or restore frames, sashes, and other structures as needed

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in using hand tools such as measuring tapes, levels, and cutting tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
- Familiarity with drywall installation and construction painting techniques
- Ability to build or restore frames, sashes, and other structures

**Salary**: $19.20-$35.62 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
