Intermediate Accountant

Kratos Antenna Solutions (Whitby, ON) is seeking a rising accounting professional who is open to working part-time well completing their professional designation. If you have 4+ years accounting experience with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to learn and grow, we want to hear from you.

You would be responsible for supporting the finance team. You will review various transactions including budgeting, procurement and, month end reports -- you’ll get to prepare reports to help management team make better decisions To do this job well, we are looking for someone to be well-versed in data and financial analysis and have strong attention to detail and customer service focus; ultimately, your job will be an integral part of our efforts to ensure compliance is front and center in our processes and procedures.

As a Kratos Accountant, you will work with our global stakeholders and clients and be responsible for:

- Reconciling bank and credit car accounts
- Processing monthly/quarterly GST remittances
- Month end functions - SAP journal entries, analysis, results presentation
- Manage fixed assets accounts and monthly reporting.
- Assist in preparation of milestone billings
- Assist in costing and reporting of inventory changes
- Various tasks as assigned in the finance group

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting
- Experience using SAP or ERP Financial System
- Self-motivated, collaboratively focused
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

**Location: Whitby, ON**

**Contract: Part time 4 to 6 hours per day**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 24-30 per week

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
