Job Overview:
The Production and Producer Services Coordinator position is not an entry level position. The primary purpose of the role is to oversee, update, and manage the production and allotment of provincial quota within the board office. This position also maintains accurate records of the CFS licensed producers. The Production and Producer Services Coordinator operates within the Board Policies of CFS and is the primary contact for coordinating with processors, producers, and Chicken Farmers of Canada (CFC) to provide timely information to all stakeholders. The Production and Producer Services Coordinator reports to the Executive Director.

**Responsibilities**:
Production
- Manages and maintains CFS’ Grower program.
- Manages weekly production and placement reporting from processors, hatcheries and producers
- Monitor producer stocking density
- Primary contact for producer inquires related to production and quota
- Preparation of production reports, projections, and submissions to the Executive Director and CFC.
- Update and communicate market information
- Manages quota ownership changes

Allocation
- Update and communicate market information to the Executive Director for decision-making purposes when necessary.
- Tracks cycle-to-cycle quota leasing
- Works with producers and processors to track and finalize Market Development allocation.
- Issues all Quota Bulletins and updates website with producer information as necessary.

Levies and Receivables
- Manages CFS and CFC levy submissions and production audits.
- Process and invoice receivables relating to levies and producer monetary enforcement.
- Liaise with the financial manager on all A/R and Levy payments.

General
- Works to ensure an effective and efficient CFS team
- Contributes to CFS newsletters and prepares relevant production data for annual reports
- Assists with all CFS promotional events

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of the agricultural industry and supply management is a definite asset
- Must be data and detail focused with strong preference to Excel or other data related platform.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn and expand specific industry related programs.
- Must be efficient and have strong time management skills and attention to details.
- Must be self-motivated, dependable, organized, confident, mature, positive and a pleasant individual.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with others over the phone and in writing.
- Must be comfortable working in a small office environment and working independently.
