Hi We’re a family-owned corner/grocery store that brings fresh produce and delicious, hard-to-find snacks to the Queen West community. During spring and summer, you can find our garden market at the corner of Queen W x Markham St.

We are looking for a full time or part time Grocery Stocker and BOH prepper to join our team.

**Your Roles & Responsibilities**

**This is a physically intensive job You must be able to lift and carry 50lbs in varying environments (fridge, freezer, basement, and garden center).**
- Receive Orders_
- Load and unload inventory on trucks and pallets
- Check invoices and check product quality
- Use a computer to enter inventory
- Move inventory to the storage area
- Prepare Produce_
- Check the quality of produce
- Cut and package fruits and vegetables for sale
- Prepare and package other goods for sale
- Restock_
- Fill shelves
- Face inventory according to our standards
- Maintain price tags and labels
- Flag low stock items and check expiration dates
- Help clean the store (including floors, shelves, windows and displays) and perform other duties as directed._

**Your Knowledge & Skills**
- Lift and carry 50lbs
- Work in hot and cold environments
- Follow “First In First Out” (FIFO)
- Customer service skills and clear communication
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Asset: experience in grocery, food, garden centers, or retail
-- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Tagalog preferred. ----_
