Respite Worker

This family is seeking a Respite Worker to work with a 10-year-old child with disabilities. Specifically, ASD, ADHD and Anxiety.

This child is very smart, empathetic and caring. He enjoys the outdoors, video games, riding his bike and using his imagination.

This family resides in Stettler, Alberta. The Respite Worker will be working with the child in the home and in the community. With a focus on getting the child out and engaged in the community for the summer. A Vehicle is required for this position.

This position is casual and will be approximately 8-15 hours per week. This position will be mainly during the week and during the day. The family has flexible availability as they are eager to find someone to start as soon as possible.
- Be ready to have some fun and spend time outdoors
- Have experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Have experience managing high behaviors
- Have experience with managing children in the community
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 8-15 per week

**Salary**: $19.11 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
