Join us as Method Quality Engineer, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in La Pocatiere (QC), CA.

**Main Responsibilities****:

- To be the NDT referent at Site level
- Provide technical support to the industrial quality team - propose corrective, preventive actions in case on NCR and REX when necessary in tenders and projects.
- Perform and validate the training and qualification of NDT inspectors in compliance with standards, contract requirements, and REX.
- Develop and approve inspection procedures and instructions.
- Define the best inspection methods based on requirements, standards, and feasibility.
- Ensure the interface with the customers based on Site (secure that customer requirements are considered, challenge when necessary to be in line with ALSTOM internal principles, rules, and processes)
- Plan and perform process audits and/or workstation audits and follow up on action plans.
- Participate to process FMEA activity (PFMEA and control plans)
- Assess and recommend to purchase and use of the most appropriate equipment.
- Participate in the preparation of NDT bids, hours, budgets, as applicable.
- Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspection & delegation of control (Training, audit,)
- Participate to Customer Inspections

**Main required competences****:

- Expert in NDT tools
- Strong expertise in the railway quality control environment
- Level 3 certifications in NDT
- Good knowledge of railway welding standards,
- 10 years of experience in the activity

- Rigor
- Have ability to accepts or reject products as defined in the working instructions / Expert support
- Team-oriented mindset

**Educational Requirements**:

- Diploma in a technical professional field, DEC in engineering or Bachelor of Engineering
- Certifications according to ONGC / CGSB MT, PT, UT,RT Level 1, 2 or 3.
