**Photographer, Highlights**:

- Provide product-based, lifestyle, fashion (on and off-fig), in-situ, food, on brand (for packaging), video based and stop motion photography;
- Ensure that all photography is on brand and follows the established creative direction, style guides, and art instructions;
- Ensure continued consistency with the quality of photography, lighting, composition, and level of detail, and minimizes unnecessary retouching;
- Develop and continuously improve existing style guides as needed;
- Proactively seek solutions to different scenarios to create compelling product and in situation shots;
- Understand a choice of angle and lighting suitable to showcase a product, label or detail;
- Accountable as part of the team for completing workflow each week for weekly workflow and additional projects; responsible to communicate potential set-backs
- Follow block plans and shot lists to ensure that the shot count is complete on a daily and weekly basis;
- Work with the stylist and assistant to ensure that the shots are styled as requested and shot as indicated (in groups, on forms, etc);
- With the Creative Director and producer, understand the daily and weekly shots needed and plan time/schedule external vendors accordingly;
- Ensure that the image names match the sku names provided on the samples and follow established naming conventions;
- Maintain a clean studio space on a consistent basis;
- Assess and provide updates and/or quotes as needed on equipment and repairs in a cost-effective manner.

**Photographer, Key Qualifications**:

- Post-graduate college or university in photography and 7-10 years of work-related commercial photography experience;
- Portfolio required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; enthusiastic about sharing skills while also learning from others.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills essential to work within changing priorities and timelines;
- Hands on experience using photo equipment in a studio environment;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, high standard of excellence;
- Software: proficient with Mac OS required, and experience with Capture 1, Light Room, Photoshop are assets;
- Knowledge of video editing (After Effects or Final Cut Pro) software, an asset;
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
