Quality Control Receiving Inspector

The primary function of the Quality Control Receiving Inspector is to perform incoming receiving activities for all items on a purchase order and physical inspections on materials and components, maintaining the receiving documentation. In addition to receiving inspection, in-process, final, mechanical, electrical and electronic inspections of various equipment, devices and assemblies. This position reports to the Quality Supervisor and works closely with Quality Engineering, Purchasing and Stockroom personnel.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. Inspection experience of at least 6 months in a similar manufacturing environment.

3. Strong computer skills

4. Proficiency with hand measurement tools and electronic measuring tool.s

5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.

**DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**

1. Receive all materials and generate appropriate documentation as required to facilitate receiving inspection in the ERP system, in a timely manner

2. Receive all consumable and service type POs into the ERP system, in a timely manner

3. Maintain accurate part identification and location information on incoming inventory, including re-labelling parts with the cert number before releass

4. Inspect products, parts and sub-assemblies to determine conformance to standards, specifications inspection procedures and drawings

5. Maintain Receiving Inspection Documentation

6. Perform Vendor source Inspections for product compliance

7. Monitor vendors for compliance to specified processes and manufacturing requirements

8. Check all gauges, tools and test equipment for correct calibration

9. Prepare all necessary paperwork

**OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Maintain documentation for all equipment, gauges and tools as required

2. Maintain cleanliness in all work areas

3. Perform other related tasks as assigned
