Spirit Psychological is a private psychological practice that prides itself on the care of its clients, big and small. We are a multidisciplinary team comprised of school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, behaviour interventionists, learning strategists and registered counselling therapists. Our services include: psychoeducational/post-secondary/ career assessments, ADHD coaching for adults, counselling/therapy, speech-language assessment and intervention for all ages and practical and collaborative in-home behavior intervention. Seeking to help across the lifespan, we accompany our clients through challenges to wellness, skillfully advocating for their needs using our years of experience in both educational and health systems.

**Job description**

A key member of the Spirit team, you would be responsible for providing a full-range of therapeutic services including clinical assessment, consultation and therapy/intervention to individuals across the lifespan. However, as many of our wait listed clients are school-aged through to post-secondary, your clinical focus on this age group would be considered an asset.

A clear understanding of the limits of your professional competencies, an ability to multi-task and a sense of empathy for all persons and situations are skills essential to this position.

You will be provided with all assessment tools (on-line, paper), therapy items and space to work that you require in order to meet the needs of your clients. At times, due to weather and/or at a client's request, you may choose to work from home in an on-line environment. The bulk of your work and preparation, however, will be completed at Spirit Psychological. We support our team members in work with remote, on-line clients outside of Nova Scotia.

As we are a growing practice and have many other members of our team who are part-time, we are open to both new graduates and those with full-time employment outside of our office.

Because of the nature of our work with multi-age and at-risk clients, only fully-COVID-19 vaccinated applicants need apply.
