Lead Carpenter

Looking for skilled carpenter that is able to complete all type of residential construction. Needs to be well rounded and experienced in Forming, Framing & Finishing aspects of residential construction.
- Be able to perform a wide range of tasks and duties of a carpenter on custom renovations and new build homes, follow the appropriate procedures and techniques for such work
- Prepare worksites with appropriate resources
- Ensure the worksite safety standards are being upheld and that the project fulfills company quality standards
- Ensure proper tools and equipment are on-site for the completion of tasks
- Communicate with a Project Manager of the progress of the project, including any concerns, problems or delays
- Lead on site and mentor apprentices into becoming skilled carpenters

Beneficial skills:

- Leadership skills to lead, delegate and manage apprentices on site
- 8-10+ years of construction experience
- Ability to understand construction drawings and design drawings
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Safety awareness on the jobsite
- Mechanical skills to work with a variety of tools and machines
- Comfortable operating all tools needed for the job

**Salary**: $36.00-$38.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

- carpentry: 6 years (required)
