**Summary**:
DMC is currently looking for a Project Geologist to join our team on a fulltime contract basis, based in our Sudbury, ON location. The Jnr Geologist will be responsible for supporting the project by providing geological and geotechnical expertise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, direct, and participate in geological, drilling, and geological testing programs.
- Perform drafting using AutoCad and other specialised software.
- Plan, direct and participate in analysis of drill reports, well logs and other test results, maps, notes and cross sections.
- Carry out geotechnical reports, field inspections and proposals.
- Access structural geology and geological features.
- Identify and advise on anticipated geological risks.
- Advise and develop methods to mitigate against geological risk.
- Interface with operations to ensure the EHS of personnel.
- Conduct ground support inspections against the ground control plan

**Qualifications**:

- Requires working physically outdoors.
- 3+ years of experience in geological/geotechnical field investigations or similar role.
- Experience preparing work plans and reports.
- Strong ability to communicate technical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
