Outdoor Pool Supervisor

Reporting to the LCLC Aquatics Manager, the outdoor pool supervisor oversees the daily operations of the O’Regan’s Subaru Outdoor Pool. The role centers around Providing supervision and mentorship to the aquatic staff during their shifts. Overseeing regular checks of pool equipment and pool chemistry. Ensuring a high level of customer experience and addressing the needs of the facility as they arise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the day to day operation of the pool with respect to delivering a high level of customer service and ensuring a safe user experience.
- Interact with the public to address any concerns that arise.
- Assist in the pre-season maintenance of the pool.
- Operate and maintain the pool filtration system and water quality, ensuring on-deck poo chemistry tests are carried out correctly and on time.
- Provide on deck and facility supervision; of Lifeguards
- Mentor aquatic staff and conduct staff evaluations at both the beginning of the sessions and at the end.
- Continuous monitoring of cleanliness and safety within the facility (including change rooms) and immediately address unclean or potentially safety risks.
- Ensure that all aquatic procedures and policies are adhered to, and to a high standard
- Completes all reports and documents appropriately in a timely manner, including incident reporting where required.
- Must ensure that the standards set forth by the appropriate certifying body are upheld to the satisfaction of the employer
- Assist in the planning and implementation of ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Assist in new employee orientation and training
- Perform other duties as determined by the aquatics manager.
Perform Swim instructor and lifeguard duties when required, to the standard of the appropriate certifying body.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 weeks

**Salary**: $18.50 per hour
