**What you’ll be doing**:

- Bid Evolugen’s generation into ISOs / RTOs;
- Trade actively in Canadian power markets in coordination with Brookfield US Trading;
- Analyze market structures, pricing and physical market parameters to spearhead revenue growth;
- Trade in the power futures markets to execute hedging strategies;
- Monitor real-time markets and seize arbitrage opportunities within Canadian jurisdictions;
- Re-supply contracts and mitigate financial implications from curtailed transactions;
- Ensure accurate trade capture in the risk management systems;
- Adhere to a rotating schedule of day, night and weekend shifts (Shift work);
- Provide real-time information and assist in other tasks as required to support the Senior Manager and Term desk.

**What you must have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin., Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience;
- Working knowledge of North American power markets (physical power flows and constraints);
- Working knowledge of scheduling Hydro, Wind, Solar and Storage assets in the power markets including the various products (Energy, Regulation, Reserves, Capacity);
- Working knowledge of standard power industry tools (ETS, OASIS) and ISO scheduling systems;
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel macros, Alteryx and Python considered an asset;
- Experience in Power Trading or in support of Energy Trading;
