Pharmacy Assistant

Pharmacy on Metcalfe is seeking a motivated, forward thinking individual to work in dispensary as a Pharmacy Assistant. We are a small, locally owned, community pharmacy located within the West Middlesex Health Centre in Strathroy.

Tasks will include processing and filling of prescriptions, direct patient interactions, blister pack filling, and managing pharmacy inventory. Interprofessional collaboration with the West Middlesex Health Centre team (including physicians, nurses, allied health, and reception staff) is also an important part of the position. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a team-based health care environment with a strong focus on patient care.

Experience with PharmaClikRx (Nexxsys) or PropelRx software suite an asset.

Position is considered full-time at 35-40 hours per week. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm.

Compensation will be dependant on experience and skillset. A minimum of two years of pharmacy experience is preferred.
