**Position Summary**:
Elite Safety Services Inc. is a health and safety company providing specialized services to clients throughout Western Canada. Our services include, but are not limited to shutdowns, turnarounds and oil field activities. Our staff focus on the personal safety of all involved in these activities and provide industrial and oil and gas sectors with rescue and medical services around the clock when required.

The National Construction Safety Officer is a member whose primary responsibility is the oversight of client projects.

**Essential Duties**:
The successful individual will:
Be responsible and accountable for knowing and working in accordance with ESSI Health and Safety Policies, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry policies, safe work practices, procedures and codes of practice.

Provide coaching and support where needed with respect to safe work.

Incident reporting, investigation, and follow up.

Able to work at heights.

**Qualifications**:
Current NCSO designation or equivalent with 5-10 years experience preferred.

Standard First Aid with CPR.

Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry and H2S Alive (preferred).

Willingness to complete additional training and certification provided by Elite

Safety Services Inc. as required.

Successful drug and alcohol test

**Experience**:
Worksite inspections along with Incident investigations & reporting.

Permit writing.

Large scale projects

Leading worksite safety meetings.
