**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a **Welding Instructor** to join our dynamic team. As a Welding Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and training students in the craft of welding, including all types and positions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, CWB-certified professional to share their expertise with the next generation of skilled welders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality welding instruction in various techniques, including but not limited to MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding.
- Teach students the safe use of welding equipment, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
- Instruct students in all positions and welding types, ensuring comprehensive skill development.
- Develop and update curriculum materials to align with industry standards and certification requirements.
- Provide hands-on training and supervision in the workshop setting.
- Monitor and assess student progress through practical and theoretical exams.
- Ensure compliance with all CWB certification guidelines and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student success.
- Assist in student placement efforts and provide career guidance as needed.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure the training facility is kept organized and safe.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve training quality.

**Qualifications**:

- **CWB Certification** (Canadian Welding Bureau) is required.
- Minimum 5 years of professional welding experience in all types and positions.
- Proven experience in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding.
- Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and industry regulations.
- Previous teaching or training experience is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to students.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with welding inspections and quality control.
- Ability to teach advanced welding techniques or specialize in a particular area of welding (e.g., pipe welding, aerospace, etc.).
- Knowledge of welding software and automated systems is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
