Experienced Water Pumping Personnel

Torrent Fluid Solutions is looking to add experienced Water Pumping Personnel to our team We specialize in bulk water transfer, fluid bypass and general labouring.

We are looking for people who have previously worked with above ground water transfer lines and frac transfers. Those with experience with filtration units, and rigging in and operating transfer pumps is an asset.

During your shift, you are expected to monitor gauges, maintain equipment and perform daily inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements. Mechanical thinking or problem solving to find solutions to technical challenges is a great skill to have for this position.

Torrent is a water management company based out of Eckville. We use diesel trailered pumps to transfer water from one location to another, most often for use during frac operations. The Water Technicians are required to have all oil and gas related tickets since they will be working on or near oilfield sites. Some transfer jobs are for dewatering purposes, and some jobs are for setting up c-rings or to provide security to the equipment while it is on location.

Crews will rig in the above ground transfer lines using skid steers, and the sources will vary from rivers, dugouts, c-rings, gravel pits or lakes. During the transfer, the crews monitor the pumps and adjust for the desired flow rates that are required for the transfer. After the transfer, the crews rig out and demob back to our yard.
Some jobs can be a few days, some a few weeks. Most jobs are in central Alberta, we have jobs within 1-2 hours of our base. Most crew members will stay in hotels while they are working at a job.

We pay for hotels and subsistence if workers are staying in a hotel. We also offer different levels of truck rates to workers who use their own truck, but it must meet all of the requirements and be equipped with tools and commercially insured.

**Experience**:

- Water Pumping: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- H2S Alive (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
