Reporting to the Warehousing and Logistics Manager, the Supervisor will be responsible for planning, organizing, and shipping items to customers and partners while overseeing the warehouse associates. The Warehouse Supervisor should coach, stimulate, and motivate employee input for continuous process improvement and individual professional development. The Warehouse Supervisor will partner closely with other departments and must possess the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with a high attention to detail.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Oversee the day-to-day operational functions done by order warehouse associates
Coordinate, train and develop team members to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned roles
Monitor and manage warehouse performance for routine inventory cycle counts, shipping, quality,, material movement, storage and outbound fulfilment
Develop and maintain positive relationships with Partners through outstanding shipping service
Oversee the receiving department for counting and inspection for accuracy and timely data entry
Resolve discrepancies with procurement and accounting regarding invoices, packing slips and receiver reports
Operate a forklift & pallet jack
Contribute to warehouse reporting and ensuring data is accurate and clear of discrepancies when presenting to leadership
Partner with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide warehouse information as requested
Participates in the interview and selection process and recommends potential applicants for hire within the warehouse
Enforce standard safety procedures within a warehouse setting
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
5+ years' experience in a warehouse environment servicing
1-year team lead or supervisory experience
Must be able to work between the hours of 8:00am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
Certification to operate a forklift
Ability to read, write and clearly communicate English
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of computerized inventory control systems
**Salary**: $27.84-$30.72 per hour
