We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a full time permanent position at Goat Mountain Kids Centre in New Denver, BC
- Goat Mountain Kids Centre (GMKC) provides high-quality child care Monday through Friday, 50 weeks of the year. Located in Lucerne Elementary Secondary School, Goat Mountain Kids Centre is a holistic, child-centered, parent engaged child care facility. The Centre offers a multi-aged child care program. The Centre has two staff on site for up to 8 children, during the peak times of the day, including one certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and at least one ECE Assistant (ECE Assistant) or Responsible Adult
Salary & Benefits
- Full Time, beginning April 8, 2024 (start date negotiable)
- Hourly wage $28/per hour. $20/hr salary PLUS BC Wage Enhancement of $6/hr PLUS CBT Wage Enhancement of $2/hr (funding dependant) for a total of $28/hr. Eligible for $1/hr raise following 6 months of employment.
- Paid Vacation and Sick Time
**Qualifications**:
- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator License to Practice Required
- Current first aid certificate; Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR
- Ability to provide a clear criminal record check
- Entry level applicants will be considered
