Operator Assistant I

**Responsibilities**:
- Under direct supervision, responsible for spooling the cable as it is pulled from the field site hole.
- Works closely with the Service Operators and Service Supervisors in the installation of the cable into the field site hole.
- Load, perform pre-trip inspection, transport cable spool from the shop to the field site location and rig up.
- Responsible for unloading cable at the shop and reloading for next trip.
- Prepare paperwork to include DOT requirements, IFTA reports, billable and non
- billable hours and mileage.
- Complete training on safety, cable shop procedures and learn about installations from field trips.
- Handle pulls of cable on to the spool at the field site location.
- Develops a basic understanding of energy industry activities and artificial lift products and services at the shop and well site.
- Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
**Requirements**:
- Must have High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Possession of a Class A CDL license is required.
- The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Basic computer skills are preferred.
- Able to lift up to 60lbs
- Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
- Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions.
- Maintains effecting working relationship with other employees.
