**What you will do**:

- Work in compliance with all Safety, Environmental, and Operating Standards
- Assist in seed planting, ensuring that seeds are planted at the right rate and at the right depth
- Conduct plant counts and take field notes on crop emergence
- Scout production fields to identifying problem weeds and insects
- Manage the isolation needs of the control throughout the season
- Scout future seed production fields for volunteers and objectionable weeds

**What you will bring**:

- Agriculture, Business or Science Degree student, or Diploma student, or graduate preferred
- Previous agriculture or field scouting experience, an asset
- Valid driver’s license
