Salish Sea Behaviour Consulting is a small but growing behaviour consulting firm based out of Nanaimo, British Columbia. Our organisation provides clinical therapy/individualized one to one programming based on Applied Behaviour Analysis and support services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a variety of developmental delays. Behaviour Consultants work with children in the community and in families’ homes. We work hard to incorporate evidence-informed intervention practices, keeping current with the latest developments; we are passionate about supporting families and their children with respect and compassion.

Our staff team works within a family centered, child focused; play-based environment and enjoys close partnerships with other community agencies, schools and other professionals. We work with diverse families with a wide variety of needs and our team prides itself on being professional and approachable.

**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Obtaining feedback from families, Behaviour Consultants and the Clinical Director on implementation of the clients' individualized intervention plans
- Implementation of the clients' ABA-based intervention programs under the direction of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCaBA)
- Implementation of the Positive Behaviour Support plans in the client's home based and community based intervention sessions, under the direction of the BCBA
- Supporting families in the implementation of their Positive Behaviour Support plans
- Data collection of client target behaviours in sessions, at home and in the community
- Communicating with Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Preschool/School Staff, and other professionals with regards to individual child’s program
- Maintaining professional and ethical standards as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and as outlined in our Employee Manual.

**We are currently looking to fill a position to work with multiple families in the Nanaimo Area. You must be able to work after school (3-5pm).**
- This part-time position can move to a full time position as clients require additional supports._
