_Video CCTV Field Technician _

**Duties**
- Install, service and maintain CCTV (Network Video, Digital Video and Hybrid Video Systems), video security systems.
- Install, Conduit, Run CAT5, Coaxial, and related cabling for video security systems using ladder, scissor or other aerial lifts
- Some installation/service/maintenance of Access Control Systems, Intrusion Alarm Systems, Intercoms and Telephone Entry Systems also required.
- Complete video system installations and service by reviewing installation orders; gathering equipment, supplies and tools; coordinating with Project Manager, adhere to codes, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain the highest quality Troubleshoot CCTV, network video recorders or servers and conduct repairs as required
- Maintain accurate records and document installation, service and maintenance work.
- Maintain vehicle inventory for parts and tools. Responsible for overall cleanliness of vehicle, both interior and exterior, and ensuring that routine maintenance is performed on a regular basis.
- Understand and comply with all JK Quality general policies and procedures as well as those of the Technical department
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following safe practices; keeping security information confidential
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Able to climb ladders and scaffolding and lift 50lbs. in a construction environment as required

**Requirements**:

- Read and decipher building/system plans or drawings
- Computer Network Experience and Qualifications would be a strong asset to this position Certificate or degree in electronics or formal technical factory training is a plus.
- Must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Driver Abstract will be required.
- Must be well-organized, self-starter and capable of working with mínimal supervision.
- Will work the night shift when and if required for an installation (by customer or employer)
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks and manage time. Require excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate good problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Must maintain professional ethics, appearance, and demeanor.
- Ability to train end-users in the proper operation of their system.
- Due to our customer base a clean criminal back ground check will be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
