As a Vac Operator, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and precise excavation services that meet the specific requirements of each project. Anic is a fully unionized company.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of three years of experience as a vac truck driver
- Valid Ontario Driver's License with an AZ or DZ license and a clean abstract
- Proficiency in operating a manual transmission
- Physical ability to meet the job requirements, including lifting up to fifty (50) pounds or more, standing and sitting for extended periods, as well as kneeling and squatting
- Willingness to work outdoors in adverse conditions, such as exposure to heat, cold temperatures, rain, and snow

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and drive vac trucks to various job sites within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- Maintain constant communication with Civil Foremen and Civil Supervisors to ensure timely arrivals at job sites
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Oversee all aspects of the vehicle, including monitoring and reporting any necessary maintenance and servicing, as well as observing the condition of equipment and reporting any incidents

This is a full-time position offering a salary between $35.00- $38.00 per hour, with additional compensation for overtime. The work schedule primarily consists of day shifts. The position requires in-person work at various job sites.
