KGH Equipment offers equipment rentals for homeowners, trades, and contractors. From manlifts to telehandlers and skidsteers, KGH Equipment offers both ‘bare’ and ‘with operator’ rentals. Many services and equipment rentals including equipment moving and delivery, excavation services with boom attachments. With the capability of providing excavation, land clearing, and site preparation, KGH Equipment can take your site from start to completion. Our equipment is new, well maintained and our pride and joy.
**About the role**
As a Surveyor, you will be measuring and mapping land and properties for different purposes. You enjoy working with others and you are quick to jump on a task when requested. You are comfortable with change and adapt quickly to the business needs.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Managing and performing survey tasks
- Interpreting engineered and construction drawings
- Liaising between project managers, site supers and contractors
- Determining precise locations using electronic distance measuring equipment, and total station equipment (Topcon branded gear)
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as required
**What we’re looking for**
- 3+ years of related survey experience is required
- Surveyor studies or related is required
- Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field is an asset
- Ability to perform field calculations
- Knowledge of geodetic coordinate systems and map projections
- A valid BC drivers license (class 5)
- Construction and Civil layout considered an asset
- Hardworking and self motivated
- Ability to adapt to changing environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work collaboratively with a team as well as independently
