**Your Opportunity**:
As our Psychologist I, your role will be to work with other rehabilitation professionals, typically when cases present emotional, behavioral, psychosocial developmental or family relationship issues that interfere with Occupational, Physical or Speech therapies. A key focus of this role will be support for feeding services offered by our department across Central Alberta. You will consult on strategies that can be incorporated into the other treatment modalities, or work as part of an interdisciplinary team with direct involvement with children and/or families. This position is based out of the Red Deer 49th Street Community Health Centre, and travel to other Central Alberta health centres may also be required. **Description**:
As a Psychologist I, you will work with or within teams to provide a range of standard level psychology services to patients and their families within the established standards, directives, and policies for the work environment. Your services may include: psychological screening and/or assessment, diagnosis, interventions, rehabilitation, prevention and promotion, as well as education activities. You will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals in planning and implementing services that align with best practice and ethical and professional standards. You will provide input to the interprofessional team related to psychological factors, barriers and dynamics that influence client treatment planning, participation, outcomes and team functioning, and consults/collaborates with teams and community services. Your duties may also include providing supervision to psychometrists, provisional psychologists and/or masters level psychology students, and providing input into program, policy and/or procedure development in addition to participating in formal research initiatives.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of master's degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from an accredited university program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Preference will be given to those with pediatric, rehabilitation, and/or child development skills and experience.
