Property Maintenance Supervisor

Easy Lawn Property Maintenance has been in operation for 14 years and takes tremendous pride with customer care, safety and quality. We service a large number of commercial and residential clients in the Humber Valley region.
We provide our clients with services that include lawn mowing, spring clean-up, tree pruning, tree services, parking lot sweeping, snow clearing and landscaping improvements.
The position will report directly to the owner. This position is on call, weather permitting, Monday - Friday (May - October) changing to Sunday - Saturday (November - April). Hours may vary weekly. This is a permanent position.
**Duties**:
- Coordinate and monitor day-to-day operations
- Responsible for short-term (day-to-day) planning and keeping owner aware of decisions being made
- Plan and direct grounds maintenance and snowclearing
- Establish work schedules
- Adhere to Easy Lawn Property Maintenance Ltd. policies and procedures; lead by example
- Make judgment on the best methods of completing tasks
- Manage and supervise the crew and ensure that all requisite tasks are handled quickly and efficiently
- Maintain work records and logs
- Assist in the orientation and training of staff
- Resolve work related problems
- Operate lawn mowing, landscaping and snow clearing equipment
- Be an active member of the crew and physically participate in completing tasks such as lawn mowing, spring clean-up, tree pruning, tree services, parking lot sweeping, snow clearing and landscaping improvements
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
**Requirements**:
- **MUST** have Newfoundland & Labrador driver’s license with good drivers abstract
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience hauling/pulling a trailer is a plus
- MUST be punctual, respectable and display positive client/public interactions
- Must be physically capable of manual labor and able to work in various conditions/environments
- Highly motivated and able to work independently and as a team
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning
- Able to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Wage will be based on qualifications and experience.
