We are currently hiring for the **Small Potted** on the afternoon shift (Mon to Thurs, 3:30pm to 2:00am)

Wages start at $16.79/hour + shift premium of $0.65 plus and monthly gain sharing bonus

Typical duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Performing general labour duties, ensuring a safety focus mindset at all times, related to the winding of materials or the production of coils, insulation and/or wire, completing the required checklists, records, logs;
- Operating equipment in accordance with standard instructions and engineering drawings to fabricate and assemble products, ensuring the achievement of quality standards, production goals, and delivery requirements;
- Utilize computers to maintain the status of jobs;
- Operate material handling equipment as required;
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
- Bending Coils
- Soldering & Brazing coils
- Adding core steel to the coils, and assembling into units.
- Molding
- Welding units, and then potting into steel enclosures.
- The units are tested, and packaged.

- Ability to operate industrial equipment and power tools - hoists, lifts, drills, brazing torches, etc.
- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions from Manufacturing Information Packages
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, and independently as required
- Must be able to train on days and move to work the afternoon shift: four 10 hour shifts, starting at 3:30pm, plus overtime as required
- Punctual
- Good hand eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of both the metric and imperial measurement systems is required.
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
