Pastry Baker

We're hiring a morning pastry baker for our Village at Pineridge Hollow location. We expect this position to be heavily pastry production focused in our busiest May-October season, with more bread an customer service responsibilities in the slower months.
**Duties**:
Bake off morning pastry products for retail sale
Produce pies, tart shells, croissants, scones, cinnamon buns and more
Assist with bread production and customer service as required
Keep a clean work space and assist with deep-clean tasks
Some customer service shifts, especially in the off-season when there's less baking to do
Expect Thursday-Monday, 32-40 hours total
**Requirements**:
Formal training in foodservice or baking OR at least a year of bakery production experience
Laminated dough (croissant etc) experience a particular asset
Strong independent work ethic
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Weekend availability (especially in the off-season)
Ability to lift 50lbs and stay on feet for long periods
Interest in wholesome food and local ingredients
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
