**What you will be responsible for**
- Working closely with technical leads and client teams to fully demonstrate the benefits of cloud technology
- Helping to build & introduce clients to automated delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
- Defining and implementing cloud-based solutions in line with industry best practices and enterprise architecture guidelines
- Supporting customers in troubleshooting issues in their test and/or production environments and identifying root cause and solutions
- Presenting case studies and cloud solutions at meetups, conferences and technology events

**What you will bring to the role**
- 7+ years of experience working as an Oracle DBA in a medium to large production environment.
- 2+ years of experience with a cloud service provider (CSP - AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in large-scale, secure, and high availability solutions in Cloud environment
- Demonstrate hands-on technical working experience with the creation, installation, configuration, back-up & recovery, upgrades & migrations of Oracle 12c AND/OR 19c multitenant and single tenant.
- Curiosity and tenacity to fully diagnose why something went wrong.
- Hands-on technical working experience in the set-up, configuration & support of Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) for clustering & high availability (HA).
- Experience with Backup and recovery best practices.
- Troubleshooting and Performance Improvement Skills including index creation, query optimization, schema changes etc.
- Understanding of database security management like encryption of data at rest and in transit.
- Hands-on technical working experience in the set-up, configuration & support of Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) for storage management.
- Have hands-on technical working experience in the set-up, configuration & support of Oracle Data Guard (single instance) to ensure HA, data protection & disaster recovery for enterprise data.
- Strong awareness & knowledge around database security & auditing practices.
- Experience with Migrating databases from on-prem to cloud PAAS solutions like RDS.
