- Basic Requirements-
Diploma from a recognized College of Applied Arts and Technology in anatomy, basic cardiology and physiology of the heart AND/OR graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, Medical Technology OR RN Program in cardiovascular technology;
-Minimum six (6) months recent experience in a stress testing department which includes exercise, pharmacologic and cardiopulmonary stress testing;
-Eligible for certification with CSCT;
-Certification in CPR and/or First Aid;
-Good knowledge of ECG and cardiopulmonary testing equipment;
-Good ECG skills and arrhythmia interpretation skills;
Experience performing stress testing with radiopharmaceuticals (nuclear and PET testing);
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
-Good interpersonal skills;
-Sound judgement and problem solving skills; initiative;
-Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Preferred Qualifications-
Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
