Carpenter/labourer

Responsibilities:

- Perform carpentry/labour work mainly in the vinyl fencing industry

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer. Wage set by experience.
- Proficiency in a wide range of carpentry skills including use of all hand power tools, table saw, chop saw, accurately reading a measuring tape.
- Ability to read and interpret fence layouts & construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects & work outdoors for 10 hour shifts
- Valid driver's license
- Must be reliable

**-Must be able to work Monday
- Thursday 7:30am to 6pm.**

Note: Experience with fencing preferred but will train the proper individual.

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Kamloops, BC V2H 1C9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
